We are currently seeking to employ a Floating Maintenance Technician to help with our Delaware property locations. This position will float between properties as needed.
$1000 SIGN ON BONUS

Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Exhibiting strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer
- Communicating and working well with both leasing and maintenance staff members
- Always representing the company in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, service requests, turnovers, preventative maintenance to units and common areas as well as any other duties assigned
- Sharing on-call responsibility
- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical and plumbing related issues
- Providing own (basic) hand tools
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Attending in-house training as required
- Maintaining current preventative maintenance property logs
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to use of standard hand and power tools safely
- Ability to lift and move of heavy items (water heaters, appliances, rock salt, shovel snow etc.)
- Knowledge to perform routine, preventative maintenance
- Knowledge and practice of a variety of building trade skills
- Ability to work on step/extension ladders and roofs while following safety protocols
- Responsibility to complete work orders in a timely manner and maintain inventory and a clean and stocked shop
- Ability to identify safety and hazardous conditions and communicate any issues
- Follow company operational and safety procedures
- Ability to work an on-call schedule as required
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and understand and follow Westover Companies core values
- Reliable work ethic and dependable transportation; must maintain valid driver’s license and working vehicle
