The Westover Companies, a family-owned and operated property management company, located in King of Prussia has operated for over fifty years with the purpose of providing quality living, shopping and working space for residents and customers. In this position, the maintenance technician would be working on The Westover Companies commercial properties. This person would be reporting to the commercial property manager. 

$1000 SIGN ON BONUS

Maintenance Technician Job Functions:

• Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer
• Strong communication skills with commercial team
• Must work well with both leasing, office, and maintenance staff members
• Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Performs routine maintenance tasks, service requests, preventative maintenance to properties and common areas as well as any other duties assigned
• Share on-call responsibility (limited)
• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical and plumbing related issues
• Required to provide own (basic) hand tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Attends in-house training as required
• Maintain current preventative maintenance property logs

Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:

• Demonstrate the appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools
• Lifting and moving of heavy items (water heaters, appliances, rock salt, etc.)
• Be able to shovel and salt as required. Perform routine, preventative maintenance
• Knowledge and practice of a variety of building trade skills
• Be able to work on step/extension ladders and roofs while following safety protocols
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Identify safety and hazardous conditions and communicate any issues
• Follow company operational and safety procedures
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and understand and follow Westover Companies core values
• Reliable work ethic and dependable transportation; must maintain valid driver's license and working vehicle
