How will I help?
The role of Senior Associate / Associate Director, New York Treasury is to manage funding and liquidity of the New York balance sheet :
Key responsibilities will include
Working with various stakeholders within the New York branch to ensure an efficient balance sheet outcome as directed by the Head of E&A Treasury.Managing the Federal Reserve (Fed) process and obligations and USD liquidity with the Fed and JPM NY Nostro including USD intraday liquidity.Cash management of the New York Nostros for meeting payment obligations. Daily forecasting and reconciliation of New York's cash positions to ensure the Nostro positions are funded every day, and cash management controls are sound.Daily deal execution for FX swaps, intragroup funding and collateral, and trade booking to ensure all cashflows and risk is captured correctly and in a timely manner.Oversee New York collateral obligations including overseeing collateral flows, fees and short-dated funding, and reconcile collateral stock positions available for posting.Working closely with Operations to ensure all NY loan drawdowns, rollovers and early repayments are captured in the cash management position and funded on a timely manner and escalated to Head of E&A Treasury if there are any issuesWorking closely with Operations to ensure the loan end to end process for funding and liquidity is best practice and safe and sustainable.Assisting with trade booking for USCP & YCD issuance where requiredAssisting with repo execution, booking and funding where requiredFunding of New York Nostro accounts to ensure payment obligations are met in a timely mannerManage funding and liquidity risk of the New York balance sheet in line with the Liquidity Risk Management (LRM) - New York policyDevelop and maintain desk procedures for cash and liquidity management processes. Ensure these are accessible to BCP fallback locations.Cross-border funding trades booked in-line with tax approved pricing methodologyCompliance with Volcker obligations, policies and controlsFed account funding and meeting any Fed Account access obligations including maintaining access to the Discount Window and keeping up to date proceduresEscalate any NY cash and liquidity issues to the Head of E&A Treasury and escalation tree in the LRM - New York PolicyPerformance of any cash and liquidity management controls as requiredWhat's in it for me?

Fixed Comp Range of $140,000 - $180,000 USD (depending on level and experience) bonus / benefits
What do I need?
A strong understanding of FED process and USD Nostro account management including intraday liquidity managementAn understanding of funding, liquidity and balance sheet management.An understanding of sound liquidity management principles and reforms.A good understanding of the specific front office product systemsA good understanding of the settlement processA good understanding of money market products and other financial market instruments.High degree of attention to detail and accuracyWhat's it like to work there?
