Position Details
What you will do in this role:
- Responsible for oversight of court related procedures for patients requiring involuntary treatment of mental health issues and substance abuse.
- Responsible for appearing at probable cause hearings to provide clinical information on behalf of the hospital. Responsible for fostering a relationship between the court system, county, physicians, and hospital.
- Responsible for ensuring that all court documentation is accurate and meets all court provided deadlines.
Qualifications
Qualifications:- Ability to work well in fast paced environment
- Ability to multi-task under pressure
- High organizational
- Excellent written, verbal, overall communication skills
- Current unencumbered clinical social work or counseling license.
- Previous experience in inpatient healthcare required. A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles required.
