What are the responsibilities and job description for the Linen Tech position at Westport Linen Services?
The starting pay is $13.00 an hour
Requirements – walking and standing for the majority of the shift.
Pushing, pulling and lifting to 50 pounds occasionally.
Description: (not all inclusive, general)
Unload clean linen from carts.
Must be friendly professional and able to work in un-supervised environment, must be able to communicate with medical staff, in courteous and professional environment. Must be able to work in a team environment and be willing to assist in other areas when needed.
Must have reliable transportation to report to work.
You must be fully (2) vaccinated for COVID-19 or be willing to be vaccinated or provide a religious or medical exemption.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions in the past 7 years.
Must pass pre- employment drug and TB skin test.
Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job.
Must be dependable and a person of integrity.
Previous housekeeping or related experiences are preferred but not required.
