Job description: The linen room technician will monitor the hospital's linen on-site at the healthcare facility to ensure an adequate supply of clean linen for all user areas. The technician will also professionally interact with both the laundry and hospital personnel and management as required.
Responsibilities:
· Tracks accurately and timely the usage of linen items in all areas of the hospital.
· Directs facilities' staff on par-level adjustments and trains nursing staff on acceptable par level use.
· Documents reject linen and works to resolve any linen quality issues
· Monitors and works to resolve any quantity, processing, or distribution issues.
· Providing information to company representatives, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
· Monitor usage and disposal of linen
· Unloading all items delivered from the Plant.
· Folding linen for distribution
· Shelving all back stock linens
· Logging all COG items and returning them to the proper units immediately.
· Housekeeping and general cleanliness of the linen room and associated work areas.
· Contacting departments in the hospital to obtain feedback and information regarding linen services
· Reporting of overuse, abuse, or misuse of linens, to include recommended actions, to management and hospital contacts as necessary

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $20.14 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
