Quality Control Technician

How this job will fit your life:
- Hours – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Days – Monday through Friday (No Weekends!!)
- Pay – TBD
What you can expect each day:
- Conduct thorough checks on products to see if they meet company guidelines and safety standards.
- Reject unacceptable products and initiate corrective action.
- Monitor manufacturing operations and ensuring they run smoothly
- Document inspection findings and completing detailed reports and performance records
- Identify cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities as they relate to the function
- Participate in corrective and preventive actions

What the position requires:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong analytic and data collection skills
- Capable of developing and implementing quality methods and procedures
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, quality plans
- Capable of meeting assigned deadlines
- Strong problem management skills
- Highly skilled in MS Office applications, e. g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Access
- Knowledge of Minitab for statistical analysis
- Capable of preparing and presenting reports to management and customers
- Able to develop and deliver training on quality processes and procedures
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED Preferred
- 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
