Press Brake Operator

Westran Thermal designs, engineers, fabricates, and services industrial ovens used in manufacturing applications in a wide variety of industries including automotive, aerospace, building products, packaging, electronics, and finishing.

Responsibilities:

• Study and interpret part drawings
• Set up the correct quick change tooling in a press brake
• Organize parts to be formed to maximize efficiency
• Make adjustments to attain correct bend angles and length
• Listen to directions from supervisors
• Determine if all parts are present
• Plan out bend operations for each part
• Interpret measurements
• Hammer, grind, and chip work pieces
• Verify specifications
• Resolve production issues
• Complete preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
• Ensure working environment is clean and safe
• Report errors in product line
• Complete quality control forms
• Be self-driven to maximize production

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
