Forklift Operator

Hiring Immediately - Full Time

8 Hour shifts on weekly rotation - Week One 7AM-3PM; Week Two 3PM-11PM

Starting at $16.49/hr - Once Qualified rate goes up to $18.23/hr

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working in Shipping and Receiving
• Move units within the warehouse, operations department, and load or unload units onto machines or trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure that all units are banded properly, have a clearly visible load tag and that there are no broken or missing straps on the units.
• Perform the last visual quality inspection on finished product, confirm that unit and truck counts are correct, and that all paperwork is accurate.
• Process inventory control and cycle counts using RF Scanners and internal computerized system.
• Unloading received materials as needed, perform a visual quality inspection on received items and confirm that delivered unit and truck counts are accurate.

What you need to succeed:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 5 year's experience operating a sit down forklift
• Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts with availability to work overtime
• Read and understand an order spec sheet and load tags
• Understand unitizing and palletizing information
• Able to successfully complete Lift Truck Training and pass the written and driving skills test to become a certified Lift Truck Operator
