The Human Resources Generalist will focus on the areas of payroll/benefits, talent acquisition, employee relations, onboarding, employee engagement/recognition, compliance, and HR special projects. This position is both a transactional and tactical business partner. It will work closely with employees and Westrock Coffee management while supporting the strategic initiatives of the HR team and organization. This position requires a perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization.

- Lead the processing of bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls and benefits administration for specific business units and employee groups.
- Collect, verify, enter and audit payroll and benefits-related employee data and calculations in ADP WorkforceNow.
- Communicate cross-functionally regarding payroll processing changes and exceptions.
- Lead year-end activities as they relate to payroll.
- Run standard and ad hoc/custom reports upon request.
- Maintain system configurations in ADP WorkforceNow and Enterprise eTime.
- Address employee questions regarding benefit enrollments and claim concerns/clarifications while engaging the benefit carriers as necessary.
- Manage benefit enrollment changes in ADP WorkforceNow.
- Lead benefits-related projects to include the open enrollment process.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for leave programs in alignment with applicable federal and state employment laws as well as company policies and practices including serving as the liaison and consultant between business units, employees and vendors regarding FMLA, ADA and other medical leave cases.
- Source, screen, and present candidates to hiring managers for consideration.
- Partner with hiring managers to select top talent.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning the talent acquisition process.
- Maintain communication with applicants and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Ensure positions are filled in a timely manner.
- Generate job offer documents and other related materials for distribution to applicants and hiring managers.
- Provide excellent Human Resources support to all levels of the organization.
- Provide guidance and assistance to employees and management regarding interpretation, compliance, and enforcement of Human Resource policies and procedures, state and federal laws.
- Work with employees and management to help answer questions, resolve concerns and/or investigate employee complaints/allegations.
- Apprise management on the status of issues and concerns being addressed and recommendations for disciplinary actions as appropriate.
- Actively participate in/coordinate bi-weekly new employee orientation and onboarding.
- Manage relocation services for existing and new employees.
- Plan and execute various employee-centered events and activities throughout the year.
- Facilitate the organization's random drug testing program.
- Coordinate the unemployment claim process in a timely, efficient manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
