Sr. Accountant

Westrock Coffee Company (the "Company" or "Westrock") is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our talented accounting team. The Senior Accountant will initially report to the Corporate Controller of Westrock and will play a key role in the accounting monthly close process across all entities within the consolidated Westrock group and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with other members of the global accounting team and other cross functional teams, while providing key data and insights to Westrock leadership.

Job Duties:

• Work with broader accounting team to close books across multiple subsidiaries
• Prepare monthly closing journal entries and transactions
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations across various balance sheet accounts and subsidiaries
• Compile other monthly tasks noted on closing checklist
• Participate with team in enforcing Sarbanes-Oxley compliant control environment across organization
• Take on other accounting projects as they arise
• Assist with the accumulation of support and analysis for the financial and tax audits as necessary
• Work with non-accounting teams to be training on correct account coding and process execution
• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships throughout the organization, including, but not limited to, ad-hoc training to business partners on accounting matters
• Collaborate with other accounting professionals to align accounting policies across the organization
• Performs other duties as assigned
