What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Asscoiate II - DC position at Westrock Coffee?
The Warehouse - Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving all deliveries into the Westrock Collins facility. This position reports to the Inventory Supervisor and Inventory Specialist.
Job Duties:
- Performs truck inspection before accepting the load.
- Verifies product and quantity received matches bill of lading (BOL) and delivery schedule to ensure proper invoicing.
- Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner.
- Partners with Quality Assurance team on the collection of green coffee samples for testing which includes moisture and temperature.
- Communicates with Roasting and Grinding/QA team with staging of green coffee deliveries.
- When applicable properly receive products against PO's and upload documents to NetSuite, notifying relevant parties/individuals of parcels.
- Accurately receives transfer orders from other Westrock locations.
- Operates a powered lift truck to perform job duties.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 1-2 years' experience monitoring product quality.
- 1-2 years of certified forklift experience.
- Strong mathematical skills using percentages and fractions while working with recipes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Basic knowledge of mechanics.
- Basic computer skills. (Microsoft Office)
