Description
Westrux International is looking to fill an Outside Parts and Service Sales Position. In this role the Outside Parts and Service Salesperson’s responsibility is to represent the Parts and Service Departments in the customer’s place of business, address their parts and service needs, respond to information inquiries, process parts orders, identify sales opportunities and sell additional parts and service. This position is in the Fontana area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Outside Parts and Service Salesperson are to professionally represent the Parts and Service Departments, identify additional sales opportunities and achieve sales goals by:
- Becoming a welcomed visitor to the customer’s place of business by providing a value-added experience with regular customer visits
- Getting to know the customer, the customer’s business and the needs of that business
- Responding to customer parts or information requests quickly
- Identifying customer needs and opportunities that will produce additional sales
- Thorough preparation for, and presentation of, sales proposals
- The presentation of new parts or service opportunities during each visit
- Contentious customer service including problem identification and concern resolution
- Develop a fleet profile on new accounts and existing accounts
- Make cold calls to find and develop new business
QUALIFICATIONS
- Commercial Truck Parts and Service experience
- Excellent communication skills both written/verbal and effective listening ability
- Bilingual communication is a plus
- An appreciation of the sales process, including the ability to handle objections and ask for the sale
- Ability to address customers concerns diplomatically, react professionally and identify solutions
- The quality required to work largely unsupervised via effective time and schedule management
- Computer skills and basic understanding of computer knowledge
- A valid driver’s license and current insurance is required
