Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pizza Maker to join our team at Westshore Pizza. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating delicious, high-quality pizzas while working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and stretch dough to create pizzas of various sizes and styles
- Add sauces, cheeses, and toppings according to recipes and customer preferences
- Operate pizza ovens and monitor cooking times to ensure perfect results
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety guidelines
- Assist with prep work, including slicing ingredients and making fresh dough
- Ensure consistency and quality in every pizza served
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to fulfill orders quickly and efficiently
- Manage inventory and report low stock on ingredients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a pizza maker, cook, or in food preparation preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to speak/read/write the English language
