We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Program Coordinator, with a focus on youth programs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of young community members and help shape a brighter future for all!
Position Summary:
The Program Coordinator will play a key role in organizing and executing our youth programs, including C.A.S.H, W.E. Pro$per, and Peace Pioneers, for students in grades 4th through 12th. We are looking for someone who is passionate about youth development, community engagement, and creating a fun and inclusive environment for kids and teens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Youth Programs: Support the implementation of all youth-related programs, including C.A.S.H, W.E. Pro$per, and Peace Pioneers, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.
- School Partnerships: Work with local elementary, middle, and high schools to identify student needs and opportunities for collaboration.
- Maintain Program Documentation: Keep accurate records of volunteer hours, program attendance, and student progress to track the success of initiatives.
- Community Engagement: Promote WCC programs by engaging with families and local schools to build relationships and increase participation.
Qualifications:
- Youth Programs and Youth Development skills
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for working with youth and fostering their development
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be adaptable, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Ability to work afternoon hours (especially 2-6 p.m. on weekdays) with occasional weekend events.
