Bank Teller

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Bank Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring accurate cash management and financial transactions. This position requires strong mathematical skills, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Duties

• Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Manage cash register operations, ensuring proper cash handling and adherence to bank policies.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering financial product recommendations.
• Utilize basic math skills for retail calculations and cash management tasks.
• Assist in fraud prevention detection by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals through upselling bank products and services.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Support branch operations by performing administrative tasks as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a retail or banking environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong cash management skills with a solid understanding of basic math principles.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Familiarity with financial sales techniques and collaboration sales strategies is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
