Position Summary : Assistant Boys Track Coach ~ Westside Middle School
Reports to : This position reports to the Head Track Coach and the Athletic Director.
DESCRIPTION : Instruct student athletes in the fundamentals, strategies, rules, and physical training needed for individual and team success in track. Promote participation, self-confidence, work ethic, and good sportsmanship in each student involved.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable about the rules and fundamental techniques required of the sport.
- Ability to obtain current CPR / First Aid when applicable.
- Ability to work effectively with sport coaching staff, parents, and school staff
