- Examing and documenting oral conditions using various assessment methods.
- Removing hard and soft deposits from teeth and polishing supra gingival crowns.
- Reviewing and recording patient medical histories.
- Developing individualized oral hygiene programs for home care.
- Providing education on oral health to patients, the general public, and special population groups.
- Maintaining inventory of dental hygiene supplies.
- Assisting other dental staff as needed.
