What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vocational Coordinator position at WESTSIDE HABILITATION CENTER?
Implements vocational training and monitors progress of Group Home clients while at work sites,
Helping develop new projects as necessary. Develops and maintains client ADL and general Life Skills per group home program through client monitoring and interaction. Performs additional tasks/projects as assigned by Vocational Coordinator. Assures client work time is consistent with tasks assigned/performed, making certain that training objectives are followed and documentation is accurate. Utilizes approved techniques for management of aggressive client behavior to insure the safety of clients and staff. Fulfills position duties using value-based principles in relationships with clients/co-workers/others and practices stewardship of resources in order to strengthen Westside’s caring mission.
