What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver position at Westside Personnel?
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating a forklift to move and retrieve products from production lines and storage areas. This position requires a high level of work ethic, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Requirements :
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time throughout the day
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions throughout the year
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions throughout the year
- Must be able to pass forklift operator training within 30 days of hire
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check(s)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Be computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and will learn our manufacturing software within 6 months of employment
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities in a short period of time
