Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly-skilled, Certified Surgical First Assistant to assist our board-certified plastic surgeon on Mondays and Wednesdays

Background in Cosmetic / Plastic Surgery with experience in body contouring procedures strongly preferred
Required Skills CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE :

Must have a valid Surgical First Assist Certification / License of at least ONE of the following :

CSFA (formally CFA) : Certified Surgical First Assistant through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA); or

LSA : Licensed Surgical Assistant through the Texas Medical Board.

Valid BLS certification, required. EXPERIENCE :

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Tech, required.

Minimum 2 years of experience working in an operating room as a Certified Surgical Assistant, required.

Experience working in plastic and reconstructive surgery, highly preferred.
