What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Westside Veterinary Clinic & Kayce's Pet Parlor?
Westside Vet & Kayce’s Pet Parlor is looking to add a receptionist to our team! The ideal candidate is friendly, compassionate, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Receptionist Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and greet clients
- Check clients in and out for services
- Coordinate and schedule appointments
- Prepare and maintain patient files
- Answer questions a client may have about their pet, their visit, or other general inquiries
- Utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records, prepare invoices
- Operate standard office equipment such as computers, fax machines, and copiers
- Maintain accurate balances through collection of client transactions, follow all cash and credit card handling procedures, and follow proper opening and closing procedures
- Advocate for pets through client education on preventative care, pet health needs, treatment recommendations and all other hospital services/procedures
- Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets, and coworkers
This is a full-time position (30 hours per week- Monday-Friday 8-5pm). Prior experience is preferred but not required. Apply online or in person.
