Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine and a passion for animal care. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, providing preventive care, and ensuring the overall well-being of pets in our care. The Veterinarian will work closely with pet owners and support staff to deliver high-quality veterinary services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as necessary.
- Perform surgical procedures with precision, including spay/neuter, mass removals, and other soft tissue procedures based on skill level/desire.
- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure the safety and health of patients.
- Provide guidance to pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures, preventative screening labwork.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all animals treated, including laboratory results and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with fellow associates, veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid PA veterinary license to practice in the state of employment.
- Experience or knowledge in veterinary daytime urgent care is preferred.
- Strong skills in animal handling, fear-free tactics, and compassionate care.
- Familiarity with animal anatomy and laboratory procedures is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and compassion for animals and their human family.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
