We have availability for either a full time or part time Veterinary Technician and a full time or part time Customer Care Associate to join our team. In these roles, you will be the first points of contact for pet owners and their pet parents, providing exceptional customer service and patient care. Based on the responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, handling client inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners.
Techinican / CVT duties will have primary focus on medical caseload, appointments, pharmacy and laboratory services, and surgery/anesthesia (based on skill level and experience)
Customer Care Associate duties will have primary focus on reception, phone/text/email communications
Regardless of position applied for, we have a wonderful team well versed in the following, and looking for a few added team members to help our growing practice!
- Greet clients and their pets with calmness and professionalism as they arrive at the clinic. We see a variety of wellness and daytime urgent care appointments.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for veterinary services, ensuring efficient use of time slots and can efficiently use own time to help where needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in Cornerstone software.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail. (CCA)
- Assist fellow staff with basic tasks as needed, including handling animals during check-ins. Teamwork is paramount to a successful and happy atmosphere.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization to create a welcoming atmosphere to clients, pets, AND our amazing staff.
- Educate clients on basic animal care, preventive health measures, and clinic policies. Education is perhaps THE most important aspect of our hospital. Ensuring our clients know as much as we know can help get the most positive outcomes and best client perceptions of how hard you all work!
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess a background in veterinary care and/or customer service with the following skills:
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology to effectively communicate
- Knowledge of animal anatomy and animal husbandry practices
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures related to pet dental health
- Experience with aseptic techniques in a clinical setting is beneficial
- Skills in dog and cat handling, fear-free techniques are necessary. Bird/small mammal handling are beneficial skills as well.
- Previous experience as a veterinary technician /CVT is necessary for this position. Previous experience in customer care / CSR is necessary for this position.

Pay: $15.50 - $22.00 per hour
