What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Quality Assurance Specialist II position at WestStar Bank?
Summary
Perform a variety of duties to support the credit and loan operation; coordinate work within the department as well with other departments; interacting with and communicating information to credit management, commercial banking staff, accounting department and loan review; complying with operating policies and procedures established for loan operations.
Essential Functions
- Perform input of daily rates into PROFITSTARS-Financial Performance Suite (FPS) in an accurate and timely manner.
- Responsible for balancing the daily GL loan reconciliation.
- Responsible for identifying and clearing exceptions.
- Review of Synergy reports for legitimacy of items such as: full and partial payments, payoffs, adjustments, due dates, etc.
- Responsible for uploading and indexing of Daily Reconciliations and daily work to Synergy.
- Responsible for the reconciling and monthly reporting of the Reimbursable GL.
- Responsible for processing and uploading loan related invoices to Accounts Payable and as necessary.
- Responsible for processing daily partial and paid-out loan releases.
- Provide proactive support to lending and credit staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of banking experience; prior experience in loan account servicing preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with posting payments and advances.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft programs, Adobe, and browser based applications).
