What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Mangement Support Analyst position at WestStar Bank?
Summary
This position supports the sales effort, and strategic goal of WestStar Bank’s Treasury Management Division to expand client relationships with superior treasury management solutions, and client support. The Treasury Management (TM) Support Analyst requires a strong working knowledge of bank, and treasury management product and service offerings, completing assigned duties within the department, providing excellent client service, and assisting other areas within the department as needed.
Essential Functions
- Treasury Management Client Support
- Provides ongoing support and assistance to all TM solutions, by phone, email, or in person
- Manages the service and system implementation and training process for new TM clients and/or solutions
- Schedules and provides support and training for all TM clients during system or vendor upgrades
- Researches and responds to all Treasury Management client inquires
- Treasury Management Client Onboarding and Review Processes
- Evaluates and processes all TM applications, addendums and assessments, initiates all credit underwriting requests and approvals, and other implementation processes in accordance with bank policy and procedure
- Performs annual services reviews, risk monitoring, and assessments to ensure clients are utilizing services as expected
- Assists Sales Associates
- Assists in providing system demos, preparing client production analysis, proposals, service agreements, and implementation of documents
- Assists Sales Associates in developing efficient client relationships
- Vendor and System Management
- Maintains TM system knowledge to ensure services are up-to-date, and processing as expected
- Creates and manages cases with vendors
- Assists in coordinating all functions of system upgrades, and new TM solutions
- Researches, assigns and maintains referrals received from bank team members
- Updates and maintains various TM systems and logs with accurate and up-to-date data
- Remains active, and knowledgeable in the Treasury Management services industry
- Assists with monthly reporting and balancing
- Assists Treasury Management Department with other functions and projects
- Additional Responsibilities
- Identify and responds to cross-selling opportunities
- Proactive in meeting department goals
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, Skills
- 2 years bank operations experience
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively, and provide superior client and team member service
- Must maintain organizational, time management, and strong multitasking skills
- Must maintain strong analytical and decision making skills
- Computer skills to include, but not limited to, intermediate level understanding of Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
- Detail oriented
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Position may require travel within service area; must have reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
