What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Educator position at Westview Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Center?
Westview Health Care Center of Dayville, CT is a nationally ranked and five-star rated facility. We currently have an opening for a Nurse Educator to join our growing dynamic and supportive team.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Staff Education in observing nursing staff skills and assessing their educational needs in order to provide support and implement on-the-spot education and strategies to attain/maintain the best practices. This position will also assist in training new staff including our CNA Training Program and new-hire education.
A qualified candidate must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college/university or LPN program and have a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state of Connecticut. They must also have strong leadership, supervisory and communication skills.
