About the role
- Westwin Elements is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Coordinator Intern to support our IT team in troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving our technology infrastructure. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate with a background in cloud computing, programming, or software engineering and a strong interest in IT systems and networking.
What you'll do
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
- Help install and configure computer systems, software, printers, and other technology for employees.
- Provide technical support to staff, addressing basic IT concerns and escalating complex issues.
- Assist in network management and security monitoring to maintain a stable and secure environment.
- Document IT procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cloud Computing, Programming, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- CompTIA Network certification (preferred or in progress).
- Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and IT security principles.
- Familiarity with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
The pay range for this role is:
15 - 15 USD per hour(OKC HQ)
