JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Responsible for food preparation services to members and guests at Court 7 Grill. Participate in kitchen activities including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, equipment cleaning and ware washing. Take direction from the Court 7 Grill Manager, Executive Chef, or other superiors.
Compensation: $19.00 to 21.00 per hour based on experience.
This is a non-exempt, hourly position which requires a flexible schedule. Open PM availability is required.
Essential Job Functions: *including but not limited to*
- Maintain a clean, sanitary environment to ensure compliance with local and state health codes, and for the safety of our members, guests and employees.
- Prepare and cook all food according to recipes and guidelines established by Court 7 Grill Manager and Executive Chef
- Enforce and abide by all policies established by the Club pertinent to kitchen operations.
- Restock food products required for item preparation including service ware.
- Maintain workstation area throughout the day, refilling as necessary
- Keep workstations and equipment clean; return soiled utensils and small wares to proper areas
- Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices; handle leftover food items appropriately
- Perform cleaning tasks such as clean line areas, wipe counters, sweep, mop, remove trash, etc.
- Carry out other duties/tasks as assigned by Court 7 Grill Manager or other superiors
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of two years' experience cooking in a professional kitchen environment; Texas Food Handlers’ Safety Certificate required.

Physical Demands:
This position requires standing, walking, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, holding/carrying, twisting/turning, reaching, climbing stairs/ladders, sitting. Employee will have the ability to lift at least fifty (50) pounds on a consistent basis. Must be able to stand and work in a hot, humid and sometime loud environment for long periods of time. Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced kitchen environment, while maintaining accuracy.
