It is everyone’s job at Westwood to serve our members and their guests, but
specifically, it is a food runner’s job to carry food from the kitchen to the table. A
food runner must do so quickly and accurately. Food Runners...
- Possess knowledge of table numbers, position, and seat numbers in relevant dining outlets.
- Set the outside kitchen line with plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, towels, and other items needed to deliver food.
- Organize the plates in the window and match each one with each ticket to run the food out to the tables.
- Ensure that each menu item is prepared in the exact detail outlined on each ticket, noting modifications and allergies.
- Correct the menu item with the chef before delivering the dish if it does not meet the exact specifications on the ticket.
- Have a strong understanding of our menu and general food preparation processes.
- Assist Servers, Hosts, Bussers, and Bartenders as needed.
- Understand the Westwood standards and chef’s expectations, and work towards serving the member experience. Full-Time Benefits :
