MECHANIC
Maintain and repair a fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and small engine equipment. Diagnose, repair, and service all company owned vehicles and heavy equipment.
Westwood Curtis Construction has been building in the Central Rocky Mountain Region for over 30 years. Our company is centrally located in Jackson Hole, but we have completed projects throughout the region in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
We have constructed many roads and driveways, installed water systems, sewer lines, storm drainages, large & small scale earth moving, residential and commercial foundations, levees, demolition, bridges, and other civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic systems
- Move or lift heavy objects
- Understand technical, operating, service, and/or repair manuals
- Read schematics
- Record work orders in data management programs
- Adhere to safety procedures
- Examine equipment to detect malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Observe or listen to machinery operation to detect malfunctions
- Operate machinery engine electrical system test equipment
- Service machinery
- Use engine diagnostic equipment
- Repair or replace electrical wiring, circuits, or equipment
- Test electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, systems
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu, and Case diagnostic programs
