What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Nutrition Manager (WWES) position at Westwood Elementary?
Ashe County Schools is seeking to hire a full-time Child Nutrition Manager for Westwood Elementary School. This position will be available to start on May 6, 2025.
The application period opens on April 11, 2025 and will remain open until filled.
Qualifications include:
- Must hold high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to oversee all aspects of the school cafeteria
- Must be proficient with technology and computer systems
- Must be able to supervise staff members, receipt money, reconcile accounts, track inventory
- Must have or be willing to acquire Serve Safe certification
- At least 2 years of experience in food service is preferred
The type of work required for this position includes, but is not limited to food prep, serving, cleaning, working in a dish room, clerical duties, inventory, etc.
