ABOUT THE ROLE
An ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) Sales Specialist is responsible for driving the sales and distribution of ETF products. This role involves working closely with Head of ETF Distribution and internal/externals sales. Help build relationships with financial advisors and institutional investors to promote Westwood ETF offerings and achieve sales targets.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase ETF market penetration.
- Identify and target potential clients, including financial advisors, institutions, and wealth managers.
- Work closely with internal & external sales in executing ETF territory marketing & campaign efforts.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Provide clients with detailed product information, market insights, and investment strategies.
Product Education and Support:
- Educate clients on Westwood ETF features, benefits, and investment strategies.
- Conduct presentations, webinars, and phone calls to enhance client understanding of Westwood ETFs.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor market trends & analysis, as well as competitor activities/products- to help better position Westwood ETFs.
- Use insights to inform sales strategies and client conversations.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, internal/external sales, and research teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Provide and share all feedback from clients to help sales team execute future sales efforts.
• Performance Tracking:
- Track sales performance against targets and report on metrics regularly.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Track Sales KPIs for senior leadership.
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Licenses/Certifications Required
- Must be series 7 licensed.
Minimum Specific Experience Required
- 3-5 years of experience in sales in financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of ETFs, investment products, and market dynamics.
- Candidates should have (or some) experience working with RIA, Hybrid RIA, Independent and Wires.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
