Westwood Manor Nursing Home has an immediate opening for a Cook and Cook Helper. Here at Westwood, we pride ourselves on the culinary creations served from our kitchenThe Cook is responsible for the preparation and serving of the residents' meals using proper food handling techniques. In the absence of the Food Service Manager, the cook on duty is the person in charge of the department. As a Cooks Helper or Dishwasher in our skilled nursing facility your job is to assist in providing a consistent level of high-quality meals for our residents. You will be responsible for performing a variety of routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food; cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and dining area; washing of dishes and cooking utensils.
