Westwood Manor is accepting applications for an Administrator in Training.
Bachelor's degree required
The prospective candidate must meet the requirements for licensure prior or during the completion of the AIT Program. The AIT is an immersive on-the-job training program for individuals wishing to become licensed nursing home administrators.
Under the supervision of the Administrator, the perspective AIT will:
- Complete a 1000-hour program, approximately 25 weeks, to prepare for full licensure as a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator.
- Receive foundational training in the 5 Domains of Nursing Home Administration.
- Complete Rotations through all departments of the nursing home.
- Actively participate in QAPI, survey, business/fiscal accounting and management, risk management, health care compliance, sales and marketing, clinical, and other related meetings, and projects.
- Study regulations and requirements for operating a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Be exposed to day to day operations of a Skilled Nursing Facility.
