Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items as needed, ensuring they are fresh and presentable.
- Perform custodial duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and carpet cleaning.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.
- Assist in the preparation of rooms for special events or occasions as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles, preferably in a hotel or similar setting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and techniques.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic cooking skills are a plus for assisting with meal preparations when necessary.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
