Part Time Maintenance Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of facilities and equipment through regular maintenance and repairs. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for all occupants.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Conduct residential painting and touch-ups as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Operate and maintain Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Fabricate parts or components as necessary to ensure equipment functionality.
• Supervise maintenance staff during projects to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot logic controllers and other automated systems to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with residential painting techniques is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and management.
• Experience with electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of CMMS software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
