Position Overview
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about mechanical engineering and interested in working with an elite team of subject matter experts on problems at the forefront of the field to create world-class experiences for all to see. The ideal candidate would be an experienced “senior level” engineer who’s worked on high-quality, multidisciplinary teams, be highly analytical, and be willing to solve unique challenges.
Day-to-day work includes analyzing and developing solutions to various complex devices including mechanical, structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. A Senior level Product Engineer will lead and participate in executing rapid development of a wide variety of new products.
You will utilize a variety of tools including sketching, rapid prototyping, and mock-ups to quickly to assess tradeoffs and mitigate risk for the rapid development of multiple concepts for new products. Once the design direction is known, product engineers document their design using 3D CAD models, assemblies and detailed 2D drawings in SolidWorks.
You should have a thorough understanding of the mathematics, physics, and practical engineering experience necessary to analyze and design complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
Proficiency in the following areas :
- 3-D CAD design using SolidWorks
- DFM / A of Components / Production Drawings
- Development, Testing and Evaluation of Designs
- Manufacturing techniques (sheet metal fabrication, injection molded part design, etc)
- Intuitive understanding of the physics underlying mechanical systems
- Finite element analysis (FEA)
