Food and Beverage Manager
We are seeking an innovative, dedicated, Food and Beverage Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. We invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards for a la carte, member/club events and banquets.
- Responsible for management of all dining areas.
- Train, schedule and supervise FOH service staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, leading a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
- Maintain inventory levels, and manage budgets effectively for FOH.
- Program and manage Point of Sale system.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily line-up with dining room staff, assign side-work daily and assure room setups are being completed.
- Handle member and guest complaints in a professional manner and in accordance to established policies and forwards all information to the Director of Clubhouse Operations and General Manager.
- Ensure visibility and actively engage with the Membership.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Food and Beverage management, preferably in an upscale or private club setting.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in wine selection, storage, and service.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and inspire a team.
- Adept at maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift at least 40 pounds.
