What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Wetland Management Services?
We are looking for a Field Technician who will utilize a variety of methodologies to treat nuisance/exotic vegetation in wetlands, conservation areas, and other preserves as well as other varieties of habitat management. Prior experience with backpack sprayers, ATV's, Florida plants, etc. is preferred but not required. We will provide on-the-job training and help you grow as a professional in the rapidly expanding field of environmental habitat management.
New team members will need to be motivated, hard-working and be able to work as a team. Disruptive personalities are not tolerated. Opportunities to advance and progress in the company are dependent on performance, attitude and punctuality.
Starting Pay is dependent on experience and knowledge. If applicant has any spray licenses, operators license and/or certifications (forklift, excavator, etc.), CDL license, etc., please list.
Job Requirements:
- Be able to work outside
- Okay with getting wet
- Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Valid Driver's License
- Able to be out of town overnight occasionally
