We help leading global companies optimize products and campaigns BEFORE they are even launched, saving months of in-market iterations. WEVO leverages an LLM fine-tuned on a proprietary data set of 1 million user studies, with 12 granted patents.JOB SUMMARYAs a VP of Engineering & Product at WEVO, you will have a leadership role in the company and be responsible for the technical direction, architecture, software development lifecycle, and infrastructure powering WEVO’s products. You will develop and execute a strategy for productionizing and delivering capabilities that leverage state-of-the-art generative and agentic AI technologies to solve customer problems.RESPONSIBILITIESDefine, develop, and execute on a product roadmap that advances WEVO’s business objectives in collaboration with CEO and exec team.Work closely with the Chief Data Officer to deploy Generative AI and Agentic AI applications.Own the development lifecycle from requirements gathering to delivery.Scope, design, guide the development of, and deploy solutions that are secure, scalable and compliant.Own the continued security and compliance of the platform.Actively contribute to planning and review processes and define OKRs for the product.Hire, lead, and mentor an agile development team and ensure best practices.EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS10 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams.Prior startup experience - we’re looking for a candidate who can ramp up fast, make decisions in high-uncertainty environments.Track record of successfully launching innovative software products in a fast-paced environment.Recent experience managing small teams of engineers.Prior experience with programming languages and frameworks like Python / Flask / Django, Javascript / Typescript / NodeJs.Expertise in SQL, data modeling approaches, and experience managing, monitoring, and scaling relational databases (we use PostgreSQL, but any flavor of relational database is acceptable).Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-based architectures.
