WeVote is a nonpartisan, get-out-the-vote nonprofit startup, and a celebrated Fast Forward nonprofit technology grantee. WeVote is a movement of excellent, passionate volunteers (starting with the founders) who build open-source mobile technologies that touch and mobilize millions of voters on Election Day. We believe that many voters are busy, distracted, and impatient. Main Responsibilities
- Analyze web app server data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support marketing and product initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau to visualize data andtrack key performance indicators
- Use Python and SQL to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field
- Experience in data analytics, data science, or business intelligence, with a focus on web app server data
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting
- Strong SQL skills for querying and managing large datasets
- Advanced in Excel
- Experience with Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and charts
- Proficient in presentation tools that give a visual presentation of the data, presentation tools such as Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Apple Keynote, and Prezi
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey insights to non-technical stakeholders. Must be able to present data and tell a story
- A high-level thinker who sees the big picture and thinks strategically
- A willingness to work with and support other volunteers
- Must be in agreement with WeVote’s Core Values
