What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Mon-Friday Morning Shift 6am-1pm (with every other Sat) position at WeWash Laundry Co.?
WeWash Laundry Co. is a premium pickup and delivery laundry service in the Greater Des Moines Area, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team in a full-time position.
Availability:
- Monday to Friday (Shifts from 6:00 AM - 1 PM) with every other Saturday
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer customer calls and input orders
- Assist walk-in customers and provide information about services and pricing
- Maintain cleanliness of the building and perform light snow removal
- Ensure proper maintenance of delivery vans and assist with vehicle-related issues
- Drive delivery van in all weather conditions (requires a clean driving record)
- Manage daily tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Utilize iPads and GPS systems to manage routes
- Perform basic tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and walking multiple sets of stairs
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
- Maintain high-quality standards and attention to detail
Requirements:
- A clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service, call handling, and time management skills
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and working in non-air-conditioned environments
- Must be reliable, with excellent attendance and transportation
- Tech-savvy and familiar with iPads, GPS systems, and other basic technologies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions

- 5-6 hour shifts
- Monday to Saturday
