SUMMARY: Responsible for management duties, which include and are not limited to taking and verifying tickets, maintaining movie posters/marquees, responsible for building and breaking down film/trailers and ads, and providing for the safety and comfort of the guests. Responsible for policies and procedures are followed by Associates at all times. Monitor and report theater safety issues, and any behavior not in adherence to policy and procedure, and responsible at all times for a high level of customer service, Associate management, and business cleanliness. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: • Responsible for building film by inserting approved previews/ads before scheduled show. • Responsible for breaking down film after all scheduled showings and prepare them for pickup. • Responsible for cleaning, maintenance and repair of equipment as needed. • Ensure proper storage of film and equipment in assigned area. • Process appropriate paperwork for each event. • Maintain crowd control while taking tickets, ensuring that guests are not being pushed forward too fast. Contact manager if assistance is needed. • Responsible for checking the movie auditoriums every 15 minutes to ensure guests have a comfortable and undisturbed viewing of the film, and that picture quality and sound are in best possible viewing format. • In the auditoriums, monitor guests for improper behavior and address any issues in a friendly, but firm manner. • Respond to customer complaints regarding improper behavior of other guests, and other concerns. • Responsible for concerns relative to the associates and workplace appropriate behavior. • Monitor parking lots for loitering or large boisterous crowds and notify manager and police department if needed. • Provide escort service to associates who are moving money from box office or concession stand to the manager’s office. • Monitor restrooms every 15 to 20 minutes to check for slippery floors or other safety hazards. Mop as needed or as directed by Manager. Ensure adequate supplies are available and restock based on acceptable inventory level. Empty full trash cans. • Clean up trash and spills in aisles after each movie ends and guests have left the movie auditorium. • Bring all found items to the manager’s office in accordance with policy and procedures. • Responsible for management and supervision of the associates at all times. Be observant for the potential of harassment in the workplace. • Responsible for a professional work environment and to promote, or enforce behavior that is complimentary and in line with company policy. (No horseplay, harassment, Etc.) • Responsible for meeting, and/or directing Associates to assist guests to include, elderly, disabled, or those who appear to need assistance. • Responsible for ensuring guests are seated in theatre chairs. Sitting on the floor or in the aisles is not allowed. • If a non-disabled guest is sitting in a handicapped seat the Assistant Manager will be required to ask him or her to relinquish the seat for a disabled guest. • Responsible for sales in Concession items, all cleaning duties, closing out of till stations and complete paperwork daily. • Responsible for ordering inventory/products when inventory level dictates. • Responsible for counting/correcting inventory, and over/shorts at the end of each month. • Maintain posters/marquee for current and coming-soon movies. • Lead by example as adherence to uniform standards is exhibited to include neat, clean image. • Comply with all business, company policies and procedures. • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. One (1) year minimum supervisory experience. • Experience in working with software programs such as, Word, Excel, and RTS software system. (Will train on RTS system and must be fully trained within one month). LANGUAGE SKILLS: • Ability to read, analyzes, and interpret company communications. • Ability to keep accurate records. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests and the general public. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: • American Indian preference. • Must be able to pass the Corporate Commission Suitability / Background check and Alcohol & Drug pre-screen MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work mathematical concepts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to consult collaboratively to define problems collects data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and propose solutions. Ability to interpret Grand Casino policies and procedures and apply them in a consistent and fair manner.
