POSITION: IT Specialist
SCHEDULE: Full-Time 40 Hours Per Week
FACILITY: New Mexico Regional
LOCATION: Albuquerque, NM

POSITION SUMMARY
Provides oversight of the information technology hardware and software of the state's computer systems along with telecommunications and training support.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Primary technical liaison with STATE Corrections Department Information Technology group to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technology related issues
2. Supports Wexford Health staff at contracted STATE sites and Wexford Health Regional Office location.
3. Configures and deploys PC workstations including hardware, software, and peripherals
4. Provides desktop support, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading PC hardware, software, and peripherals
5. Provides end-user technology training on PC hardware and software (including the TechCare EMR)
6. Provides regular technology status updates to the Director, Information Technology as well as the Statewide Director, Operations.
Upon receiving the necessary training and/or instruction, performs other related duties as required or assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
LICENSING: None
CERTIFICATION: MS network certifications MCSE, preferred
EDUCATION: Associate's degree in IT or a related field, preferred
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3-5 years in Network Systems Maintenance and Microsoft training preferred.
