POSITION : Licensed Practical Nurse - 4 day work week
SCHEDULE : Full-time / (2)7am-3pm and (2)7am-7pm weekly / Rotating days off
FACILITY : Danville Correctional Center
LOCATION : Danville, IL
PAY RATE :
Base rates of $33 and $34 per hour for LPNs up to $4 per hour in shift differentials!
Base rates of $43 and $45 per hour for RNs up to $4 per hour in shift differentials!

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the designated Wexford Health manager and clinical supervision from the Director of Nursing, Registered Nurses, Medical Director and / or IDOC personnel as appropriate, the LPN is responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Under the guidance of Registered Nurses, directs and guides patient teaching activities commensurate with education and demonstrated competencies. Utilizes electronic medical record system as applicable throughout the scope of duties and responsibilities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
LICENSURE : Current, Valid, Unrestricted Illinois State Licensed Practical Nurse License
CERTIFICATION : Current Hands-On CPR course required prior to start date
EDUCATION : Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional nursing experience a plus
