What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Pilot position at Weyerhaeuser?
Primary utility job functions are forestry fertilization application of herbicides, and firefighting conducting water drops. Occasional ferry and reconnaissance flights are also conducted.
Type of aircraft: Bell 212 and Bell 206L-4.
This helicopter pilot position is based out of Eugene, Oregon providing VFR helicopter services to Weyerhaeuser Timberlands in Oregon and Washington. Some opera require travel away from Eugene, travel expenses provided. Most operations are conducted locally. Schedule is balanced to meet customer demand and personal needs. We manage our flight hours per year, with safety and work/life balance in mind, to allow for vacation and needed personal time off.

Minimum Requirements:
- FAA Commercial pilots license with Rotorcraft-helicopter rating
- Second class medical certificate
- Pacific Northwest pesticide applicator license
- 200 hours of application experience using GPS swath guidance.
- 1500 hours of flight time PIC Rotorcraft
- 200 hours Turbine time
- FAR Part 137 endorsements
- Function well in a team environment in both flying and non-flying jobs
Desired Requirements:
- 500 hours of helicopter experience in a forest I mountain environment
- Experience in helicopters which Weyerhaeuser operates (Bell 212 and Bell 206L-4)
- Experience conducting granular fertilizer application with under slung spreaders
- Experience with longline firefighting.
- Maintenance background
- Experience with AgNav guidance system for aerial application work
- Computer skills, database experience, people management and customer relations will further strengthen the candidate's position
