Job Summary
This role supports the wood products raw materials procurement business and reports to the vice president of raw materials procurement. The successful candidate will lead the log procurement operations team and be a member of the raw materials and by-products lead team.
Key Functions
- Establish strong working partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain current and develop potential new key supplier, customer, and contractor relationships
- Collaborate with timberlands on integration excellence and cross-business OPX
- Develop strategic roadmaps for each mill and operating area for raw materials and by-products
Requirements
- Experience in Microsoft business tools to support budgeting and planning
- Ability to effectively work and communicate across organizational boundaries
- Market knowledge of wood products manufacturing and by-products
- Supply agreement compliance understanding
