Manufacturing Associates and Maintenance Technicians

This event will be used to staff our night shift production and maintenance crews.

Our Production Associates and Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in safely ensuring the effective and reliable manufacturing of softwood lumber that will be shipped to our customers and used for residential home construction. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, motivated to work, and works as a team member.

We Offer:

• Competitive wage which starts at:
• Production Associate: $19.00/hr $1/hr (night shift differential) = $20.00/ hr (night shift)

• Mechanical Technician: $25.99 $3/hr (weekend differential) $1/hr (night shift differential)= $29.33/ hr (night shift)
• Tops Out at $35.54

• Industrial Electrician: $27.17 $3/hr (weekend differential) $1/hr (night shift differential)= $31.33/ hr (night shift)
• Tops Out at $38.11

Top Key Functions:

• Commitment to working safe and following all safety rules and regulations.
• Clean-up activities throughout the mill, both inside and out.
• Cross-train in production roles and be able to fill in when short-handed on days or nights.
• Feed or place items onto equipment for processing and load/unload items from machines.
• Able to interpret work instructions and complete tasks as delegated.
• Willingness and ability to work all shifts and wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Actively participate in the team-based work environment with a positive attitude, good communication skills, and respectable work ethic.

Shift Hours:

*OT- Overtime

Planer Mill:

• Night shift: Mon-Fri
• 10 Hour Shift: 5:30PM – 4:30AM
• 1 hour OT per shift and 1 shift of OT per week

Sawmill:

• Night shift: Mon-Fri
• 10 Hour Shift: 5:15PM – 4:45AM
• 1 hour OT per shift and 1 shift of OT per week

Maintenance:

• Night Shift: Fri-Mon
• 12 Hour Shift: 5:30PM-6AM
• 30 minutes OT per shift

Positions require flexibility to work any shift including possible weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work night shift
• Able to perform labor intensive and essential job functions, which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, work from heights, and standing or walking for 2-3 hours at a time for 10-12 hours
• Able to complete forklift training
• Able to work safely around moving manufacturing equipment and follow all company policies and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Good decision-making skills
• Able to work any shift, weekends, overtime, holidays as needed
• Able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety equipment
• Successful completion of assessment process, background check and post-offer pre-employment drug screen and physical
