Job Title: Wood Products Raw Materials Specialist
Weyerhaeuser is seeking an experienced wood products raw materials specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the log procurement operations team and collaborating with timberlands on integration excellence and cross-business OPX.
Responsibilities
- Establish strong working partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain current and develop potential new key supplier, customer, and contractor relationships
- Collaborate with director of operations and planning and by-products manager on business development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in forestry or related field
- At least 10 years of applicable job experience
- Proactive safety leader with a demonstrated safety record and commitment to workplace safety culture
- Contract negotiation experience
